Bed leveling wizard not working

I have two Flashforge Creator Pro's and for some reason the bed leveling wizard is now not working properly with both printers. When I select "begin leveling" it moves to the first position fine but when I select "next" it moves the extruder violently to the front and it hangs in the second position and I get a jarring noise from both my machines. I have to either turn my printer off/on or select the bed leveling function within the printer itself to get it "unstuck" from the second position.

Any ideas on what's causing this? I am on version 3.1.1. It was also happening on version 3.0.1.

Thanks!

Re: Bed leveling wizard not working

Well first I would go back to the configuration assistant and re-download the S3D profile for the FF Creator Pro. That way you know you are using setting that work for everyone else.

Besides that, I see lots of people on the flashforge forum that install sailfish on their printers and then forgot to correctly set the homing offsets, so if you've installed new firmware on the printers, it's very possible you may have forgotten that step.

Re: Bed leveling wizard not working

The FFCP's come with Sailfish so i don't really know if people are changing over to it. Maybe older Flashforges's were different.

With that said. I have never bothered with the bed level wizard. Run the leveling straight off the printer panel. Very simple.

I can try running it later but what really does it do for you that doing it yourself doesn't accomplish? Not meant as a snarky question!! I just haven't looked into using it since I can level my FFCP in a minute or so..
