Settings not stable

Hi,

I have a confusing issue.

What will happen is i will be making a change to the settings for a print using the FFF settings, after im done making the changes, i'll press "update settings" And i'll print my object and close simplify3D. But then, what will happen is if i open up an STL file by double clicking it it, simplify3D will open up with an old .stl file i was using in the build screen, as well as the file i am trying to print, and if I open up the FFF file i will find that all the changes i made were lost ait instead it will say for example PLA (modified). If i remember to delete the FFF, change which profile i am using (switch to abs, say "dont save changes", and then switch back to pla) it will use my updated settings, but it is rediculous to have to do that many steps....

Whats going on?

Thanks!

Re: Settings not stable

Do you have multiple instances of S3D open ? if you just have one instance open, close the app, the current settings will be saved in the temp saved state factory file in C:/Users/Username/App data/Simplify3D ( think this is the path for windows). If this is not happening correctly, try deleting the file present over there and open a new instance of the software. This will create a savedstate factory file again
