Greetings- I have a Da Vinci Pro and recently put a glass bed on top of my heated aluminum bed. This was mostly because the aluminum had starting warping and I couldn't keep the whole bed level for printing.

I primarily print using ABS (though I may switch to PLA soon!)

I heat the bed to 90C (for ABS) prior to the first layer but I'm finding that that first piece on the bed doesn't stick (and the rest of the parts stick really well). I'm thinking that although my printer is set to 90C the actually glass surface hasn't reached 90C yet. Is there a way to have the printer reach the 90C bed temperature and pausing (for say 5 mins) to let the rest of the bed heat up? I can't seem to find this option on the advanced menu anywhere.

I don't think there's a good way to just pause for several minutes at a specific temperature, but there's also lots of possible reasons why the print isn't sticking. In particular, checkout the first layer speed and height options explained here:

When I print ABS I always manually heat the bed for quite a while allowing the glass to stabilize and the heat to build in the cabinet.
