MP Maker Ultimate - SD card printing doesn't work.

Whenever I try to print via SD card (since I get "firmware unresponsive" after a couple hours when I print via USB), I get the following error on the printer's LCD:

"Error: Tried printing out of printing area"

No, I didn't, and nowhere in my print does the toolpath exit the area. When I enter the commands in the gcode file one by one, it works absolutely fine. Yet from SD card, it fails. It fails immediately after homing all the axes, not sure at what command. It prints fine over USB till the firmware becomes unresponsive.

Do you want me to attach the gcode file?

Might be good to ask the monoprice people what they consider to be "out of bounds". I've seen other printers where they have a bed that goes from 0,0 to 200,200, but for some reason, then considered anything between X=0 and X=8mm to be out of bounds. It was the weirdest thing, but that's how their firmware worked.

So it would save a lot of time to try to get that answered from the MP people first before you spend too much time in S3D

As far as the firmware unresponsive goes. Check the settings on all USB ports that power management is off. In other words disable all power saving features.
Also, make sure you USB cord is not longer than 15 feet for USB 2 and 9 feet for USB 3. No USB hubs or anything like that.

On one of the forums, I read about this issue happening due to a bad/corrupted SD card. Try printing from a new SD card if you have one. This may or may not fix the issue. But worth a try.
