Calibration for Bridging

Looking for some guidance on calibration for bridging.

I ran a 20mm bridge test this evening on my Robo 3D R1 Plus.

I think it passed the test but what I noticed was that up until the bridging the print speed was more in line with the 45mm/s that I have for my default print speed but once it began to bridge it was much faster.

I am not sure if you want it to bridge fast or slow and steady...

My bridging is set as:

unsupported area threshold 50 sq mm
extra inflation distance 0.00
bridging extrusion multiplier 95%
bridging speed multiplier 100%

Also, looking for laymans explanation of the last two settings

Re: Calibration for Bridging

I've had both work before. Sometimes moving quickly and extruding less plastic helps stretch the filament so it doesn't droop as much. But other times, you're better off just having the fan on high and moving really slowly and hoping it cools in place. So you probably just need to experiment with your exact filament to see which works best.
