How can I increase only the outer shell thickness?

I have a thick wall that I would like to shell 4 times on the outside and only twice on the inside... is this possible? The only control I could find (in Layer settings–"outline/perimeter shells") added shells symmetrically/evenly.

The question is a little vague so I'll cover the things you might have meant.

Only one perimeter shell will be visible from the exterior, which means what you're asking for is one on the outside and five on the inside. So set it to six and you'll be sweet.

But, if mean you need two different thicknesses of perimeter on the same layer, I'm pretty sure you can't do it from the software interface. It'll just have to be four thick the whole way round each layer.

However, if the areas are on separate layers, you definitely can change the amount of perimeters. You'll need to set up separate processes and run them together for the one object.

Good luck!

the "inside" you talk about here is probably a "hole in the object". slicers don't see it that way, the "inside" is where the infill goes ... so if you have for e.g. a hollow cube, inside diameter 10mm, outside diameter 30mm, so you have 10mm walls, the 10mm hollow cube inside the 30mm cube is "outiside" for the slicer and the perimeter will always be same as the visible one..

as you can see on the attached image, the "dark blue" is "the most-outside" perimeter, light blue is "inside perimeter" red is infill ... the red is what slicer sees as "inside", the inside hole of this object, or what you see as inside hole, is the "outside of the object" for any slicer, and that wall do not differ from any other, visible, wall

Re: How can I increase only the outer shell thickness?

Thanks guys (Arhi & the_arrest),
that is exactly what I was asking... and I had pretty much come to the same conclusion–no way to accomplish it.
I know it seems a little like, "why?" But I am trying to form a structure with no infill but with as much rigidity in the outer part of the wall as possible. The reason I wanted the inner part of the wall to be as thin as possible is because rigidity is not important there and I need as much light to pass through as possible. Thank you guys again for taking the time to address my question.
