This is more a quality of life request rather than something critical, but having the ability to designate an area where no support should go, even if the generator wants it there.

Sometimes i need to print a flat surface above the printer bed with features such as pillars for holding screws, or small tubes for steel rods. So what I am proposing is the ability to have a "no-support" pillar in the customize support section. Following the same rules and placement methods as the normal pillars.

Why can't you just manually remove the supports where you don't want them? I do that all the time, even if I have to click 200 times to get rid of a big area of support. What they really need is a lasso selection tool for selecting support for deleting. That would be great!
