What is "wipe"?

What is the "wipe" feature, and how do I use it?

I'm using a Felix 3.0 on a mac. I tried the traffic cone in the tutorial and am getting layers of one color streaked with the ooze of the other color in it. Wipe sounds like what I need, but I'm not getting how to use it.

Greetings fellow Felix user :D

I'm sure the wipe feature is back track wiping that is linked with a retract and crossing perimeters, not a prime type wipe for multi extruders, something like a prime pillar where it prints and "cleans" the head before printing in the main object.

I have't yet tried dual head on the felix so I can't comment on the settings related atm, next time I have some time I want to get my second extruder installed

Stephen...
