I use a lot the sequential feature to print several pieces at the same time. Sometimes I need to re-arrange the order without having to go thru each process and select-de-select the model the process references.

It would be great if it could be possible to re-arrange the process simply by dragging them in the correct order in the list on the left.

Also it would be even better if there was a wizard to assign the models that each process references. A list on the left lists the processes, and a list on the right shows the models. You click on a process and the assigned models highlight. You then can click and de-select or select a model for the chosen process.

Anyway. Just me asking for stuff.

I have found that in sequential printing, the print head moves from object to object in the order that the process was created, and NOT in the order that it appears in the list or alphabetically or numerically. Therefore if you want to rearrange the processes, you must copy the out of order processes and move them below the process you want printed first, then go back and delete the original out of order processes.
The fact that you copy and paste the processes makes them created in time after the process(es) that already exist.

What a convoluted mess it is to print sequential items with Simplify3D. I'm still hoping for more than one process per sequential item, which seems not to be a priority.

Well. Considering the last release was one year ago.. I am starting to think S3D software is not a priority after all!

I just ran a few tests and when I use sequential printing, it always prints in the order of how my processes are listed on the left-hand side. So I think that's how you control the order, but right now you can't really drag and drop, so that would be nice to quickly change the order of how the models are printed.

This has now been added in Version 4.0! You can drag processes in the list to reorder them. There is a quick clip showing this in action at the top of this page:
