[ADDED] Option to stop prime pillar early

When I print with two materials, often the model uses only a single material above a certain layer (especially common when printing with support material). Once above that layer, there's usually no need for a prime pillar any more, since the remaining layers use just a single material. By stopping the prime pillar after that layer, one would save both material ant time (!)
Looks like it ought to be a trivial change in the program.

You should be able to do this by using 2 processes. Use the first process with the prime pillar enabled but end that process at the height you want the prime pillar to end. Then create a second process with the prime pillar disabled and have it pick up from the height where the first process stopped.

I can confirm that this is now included in version 4.0. You can use the Variable Settings Wizard to easily choose where you want to stop the prime pillar. I posted more detailed instructions here:

Hope this helps you save some material for your prime pillars!
