Simplify3D User Forum

I have a dual extruder Vertex K8400. If I am only using one extruder (Right) I still use the dual profile but select 'Right Extruder Only' under 'Auto-Configure Extruders'. However the extruder lists under the Extruder & Temperature tabs always select the Left extruder as default when I open Process Settings. It's only a minor annoyance and I normally remember to check & switch but sometime in a rush I make changes to the unused extruder.

Is there any way to change this behaviour or can it be fixed in a future release?

On mine it always lists both extruders also even if I select left only. I usually delete the one I don't need and save the profile as a new one. Also I think the material selected sets the default one. Such as PLA sets the left one on mine and ABS sets the right one.
