print round rods

Hi guys
I want to print a round rod that its radius is 1.5 mm .I design the rod using OpenScad software and try several "smooth" command with different numbers but when try to print the rod it printed like a square rod not nice circle .
Is it possible to print this kind of rod and if yes any advice ? :?: :?:

Can you supply us some images of the "square rod"? Of cause you may have problems with cooling if you try to print a single rod, but in principle you should get results as expected

If you are talking about what I think then basically you need to increase the number of faces or segments for the circle.

Looking at the diameter of the rods you are trying to print, I'm not surprised you are not getting good results........for possibly one or more of several reasons!

Please attach a factory file for the rod so we can see what and how you're trying to do. Load object and profile, then on File dropdown menu==>Safe Factory File. Attach file with suffix .factory to a post.
