My print keeps stopping at about half way. I look at the communication screen and if there was an error it has scrolled off. Any way to see the rest of the file or any way to have it automatically stop the communication when the error happens? The print looks great up until that point.
This is why I always print over SD-Card instead of direct USB communication. There are to many factors that could have influences on the USB Stack. If the OS consider that something changes on the USB Hotplug devices it may happen that the connection is lost. Or maybe if the OS is trying to change the state of the USB Controller to standby to save energy...
Which OS are you using? Did you take a look at the event log respectively kernel log on linux?
Are you working on the PC while you are printing or did you leave him alone?
Also try to disable the Power management of the USB-Root Hub where your printer is connected to (Device Manager => System Devices => USB Root Hub => Power management => uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
Also try to change the USB Cable.
