custom prime pillar, order of printing

I've a model which I want to print in 2 processes:
1. Extruder 1, stop at Z=1mm
2. Extruder 2, start at Z=1mm
When I turn on the automatic prime pillar in both processes the prime pillar is only printed for process 1. So I created a small box, 2 mm high and added 2 additional processes to print the custom prime pillar with the same start and stop heights, resulting in 4 processes, 2 for the model and 2 for the pillars.
Problem now is that after generation of the print process, first the model is printed and second the prime pillar. How can I change this print order?
In attached image: blue is extruder 1, green is extruder 2. It shows that the 2nd extruder prints the model before the prime pillar.
Thanks for your help!
Mike

Re: custom prime pillar, order of printing

Interesting that you have just posted this Mike, I was about to post a pretty much identical question this morning. I am watching with interest.

I had a play with the ordering of the processes and it seems if you order the processes correctly you can acheive this. There is no way or re-ordering them though as far as I can make out, so you need to do it from scratch..
So my example is something like this -I want 3 coloured layers each 1mm thick.

Process 1 Select Models ->Cube (custom prime pillar) -->start at 0mm end at 1mm
Process 2 Select Models ->Actual Part -->start at 0mm end at 1mm
Process 3 Cube -->start at 1mm end at 2mm
Process 4 Actual Part -->start at 1mm end at 2mm
Process 5 Cube -->start at 2mm end at 3mm
Process 6 Actual Part -->start at 2mm end at 3mm

Create a gcode for Processes 1 & 2 continuous printing
Create a gcode for Processes 3 & 4 continuous printing
Create a gcode for Processes 5 & 6 continuous printing

Am I being totally dumb, or is this the only way to do it making sure the prime pillar prints first?

Cheers,
Greg

Re: custom prime pillar, order of printing

Hi dkightley and Greg,
I actually came accross the topic which suggests to delete and undo the processes but for some reason the trick didn't work for me. Acutally the process orde was changed, but the printing order remained the same. Also after saving and re-opening the .factory file the processes returned to their initial order. Also tried to delete/restore the models (so the prime pillar was the first loaded model) without the desired effect. All was done where the process names were in alphabetical order so the prime pillar would come out first in the list.

Also tried to put the starting point for printer on top of the prime pillar, also not effective....

Any other options to get this done?

Greetings,
Mike
