Can you print with different perimeter and infill thickness?

I would like to print my perimeters at a high resolution, and the infill at a lower resolution. I think you can do this with Cura, somebody said that this is also possible with Simplify3D, but I haven't figured out how to implement it. I just bought the license today, so still getting to know the software.

Thanks

Yup. Infill tab, change "Print sparse infill every ___ layers" to a value of 2 or 3.

This will make the infill 2 or 3 times thicker so that you can print a fine outline with a fast thick infill.

dave its supposed to skip layer for the infill but it prints them twice as thick, with sparse infill set to 2. it will print .15 mm outside perimeters twice then one .3 infill layer
