brim lifting

I am relatively new to printing. I have been using Cura to get my feet wet, and am just starting getting into S3D and adjusting settings to improve results.

The issue is the brim lifting in an odd way. I'm printing on a Taz6. It is not happening when I use Cura, and have no idea what to start adjusting to get rid of the problem. I hope the pictures are clear enough to show what's happening.

Any help will be really appreciated

Re: brim lifting

Hi,

first, it's totally useless to make a Brim on a Raft ...

and your first layer is too high,
2 solutions :
-setup presisly your bed level with the Bed level Wizzard
-go in prosess and in layer tab, lower the First Layer height (I Set them 70% )

Personally I never print on the glass directly, I use ABS juice for ABS and Blue Tape for PLA, since I never have this problem even on a badly leveled bed

PS : what is your filament ? I love his shiny look

....and option 3 is to adjust the global-Z offset slightly to compensate for any excess height the nozzle may be after the bed levelling (auto or manual) has been done.

Adjust it (GCode tab) by a negative amount to raise the bed (or lower the nozzle...whichever way you think of it!) for just the first layer. This has the effect of squiging the first layer into the bed a little bit more....stopping the curls!
