New Creator Pro - Dual heads prints failure

I have a Flashforge New Creator Pro. I have been using Simplify3d since I purchased last year. I had no problems with Dual head printing when I first tried it. I had not done any dual prints for a long tme and Simplify has updated twice since first dual prints. I am trying to print a piece that needs dual head printing. The prints stop and show quickly on the LCD a Sailfish error. I have tried releveling bed and multiple set ups with multiple filaments. I have tried the ooze shield and the tower and prints are always failing only 20% of the way. I have tried same design printed with one nozzle and no issues. I used SolidWorks to design model and it mergers with no issue in the Simplify3d software and slices normally.

Well it would probably be useful to know what exact error the sailfish firmware shows

The LCD screen flashes some error for Sailfish but quickly goes to main menu.
How can I see the error codes?

That might be a question for the Sailfish developers, since I'm not sure where the errors are stored. But if the firmware is displaying errors, you will need to get those fixed first before running more prints.

I downloaded Flashprint and used this to update the printer firmware to the new Creator Pro firmware and this eliminated the stopping but print quality is not as good and during dual print the alarm goes off each time extruder changes and it does not keep extruder temp. Temperatures go down on unused extruder then alarm sounds when changing and heating next extruder.

what version of the sailfish firmware did it upgrade your printer to?

I have the Flashforge Creator Pro 2016 edition, mine currently runs v7.8 special heater edition, I do notice occasional temp drops and it plays a tone to let me know that the temp has returned to normal but it hasn't affected print quality. I print mostly with ABS, so I have also made changes to help keep drafts out of the build area to help keep the temperature stable,

Plugs to fill the spool holder holes

part to block some of the hood opening and help with rattling

the 2016 version has the left side hinge instead of the top edge hinge on the door, and the right side has a molded handle which leaves an opening I have yet to test ninja flex on the flashforge extruder so currently I put some masking tape over that hole.. I find that the sealed print volume really lowers the amount of times I hear the temperature notification,
