So you can auto generate supports, but how do you manually place them while in cross section mode?

It is the same. Never tried?

I am running into an issue where, in cross section mode, I cannot place support material in a fully enclosed space. My thought it that the cross section mode is just making the part invisible, and so when I try to place support material, it still thinks my cursor wants to place the support on the outside of the object.
