Simplify3D User Forum

New here. What a excellent application Simplify 3d is.

Throwing this out there. It would be super slick if while creating processes there was an option to either read a txt/csv file or paste in values for say all the start and stop printing heights and corresponding values to change. Similar to how SolidWorks does there design table.

I would also like to see Processes improved greatly. I really like the idea of this and I have been using it a lot but it does needs some work.
1) Rearrange button i.e move process up or down easily without copy/paste.
2) Select group name to change all children process values. Select a process within a group to change only a value within that process (similar to
changing a process value not in a group).
3) Implement an option to read txt/csv files (mentioned already but sure would be really nice).

Just so you know, v4 added the ability to reorder processes using a simple mouse drag action, so that should help with #1 from your list. For #2, you can use grouped processes to change the settings for multiple processes. That is explained more in the video below:

The new Variable Settings Wizard may also be useful, as it makes it much easier to enter multiple start/stop locations for your process, and even visualize those locations on the screen.
