First layer over support mat. does odd pattern

Is there a reason why the first layer of normal material printed on top of support material is done in an odd circular-rectangular pattern, instead of the chosen infill pattern? This seems to screw up adhesion to my support material and makes the bottom layers of my parts look terrible. I would like to modify it so that it prints a simple patter instead.

Looking into this further, looks like it is doing a concentric fill for bottom layers above support material. Can this be disabled?

That sounds like it's doing bridging there

As JoeJ said, perhaps is this:

RAFT: what you call "SUPPORT", the 2/3 layers at the bottom whit grid pattern
SUPPORT (bridging): I think the problem you said, which are the odds. To avoid this, deactivate "Generate Support" checkbox on "FFF Settings" floating window.

I show you the image of a piece I've printed to illustrate the situation:

Clayton gave me a work around. Not sure if this is a "bug", but I defined bridge area as 99999 to disable any bridging calculations. It was doing concentric infill for bridging (some of the times). By disabling bridging, issue seems to have gone away. Something to be aware about.
