There is a need to allow multi color/filament printing with a single extruder and single nozzle - a real solution that moves the nozzle away, retracts, pauses, has the ability to use a prime tower, and different temperatures - the same tools with multi-extruders.
We are currently limited to switching colors/filaments on a layer basis, which isn't ideal (i.e. inlays).
