I downloaded and printed an obj. file of a 40 million year old fossil skull of a horse-like animal and wow was I impressed with the results.
The issue was Creator could neither fix or preview this file without crashing and I was wondering if this was a result of the obj. file or the
extreme complexity of the scanned image, actually not really an issue because I didn't expect the amazing results of the print.

Hey chuck,

Sounds like a cool print! You should post a picture! ;)

And the default previewer we use is fairly memory intensive, so depending on your hardware, you may need to downgrade to the "low detail" version for this particular file. You can change that setting by going to Tools > Options. If it really is just a MASSIVE model, that may not work either. The hardware can only render so many lines or triangles before it runs out of memory, there's just no way around it.

Either way, glad the print turned out well! We've done our best to keep the slicer overhead as low as possible so many times you can slice these massive models, no problem
