Since the "upgrade" to V4, I can no longer get any of my prints to stick to the raft. This feature use to work perfectly in the previous version.

Does anyone have the raft settings from the last version, or is there a way to downgrade until this is fixed?

Just decrease the separation distance. If you set that to zero, then the first layer of the part will be printed directly on top of the raft. That will probably stick TOO well, so try other values like 0.05 or 0.1mm.

I was having trouble with V4 raft sticking too well, now I see that I should have tried some separation. I had it at zero because that was working nicely on my 3DLabPrint Stearman wing sections with V3, and would peel away nicely.
Now it stuck to the wing so bad I ended up throwing away the four sections I just printed.
I just started a print using brim to see if that does it, we'll see...

I also can't get a solid bottom Layer above raft..
The First 3-4 are Not solid.. in Version 3.1 everything was Fine.

If i decrease the distance, it is too sticky, but still Not solid in the First Layers...

Actually I use PC-Max. This needs some Space between raft and first layer.
In Version 3.1 everything was Fine.. can anyone help?

Try reducing the "above raft speed" to 20 or 30% so that the first layer of the part on top of the raft prints much slower. Then adjust the raft separation distance until the part is sticking to the raft, but not completely bonding to it.

I already have a "above raft speed" of 30%.

Why did version 3.1 a good Job and 4.0 can't Print solid layers above the raft?

I was trying to help the OP who was having trouble with his part NOT sticking to the raft. If yours is sticking too well, you might want to make a separate thread.

So I adjusted the separation distance to .05 and the infill to 85%, and that seemed to help. But it's still not perfect like 3.1 use to be.
