Preheat Issue

I'm still pretty new with S3D, but am happy with the program.

But I do have something that's not working right. The print wants to dive right in without waiting for the head to come to temperature.

For example, I'm using my left toolhead at the moment. When I saw this happening, I dug through the tabs and found for the 'wait for temp to sabilize before printing' so I toggled this on.

Makes no difference.

I must have changed something somewhere, but I don't think this was an issue before.

As a work-around, I have been using the 'change filament' command on the printer to bring it up to the proper temp, then I tell it to do the print.

After that, I have 100% successful prints (although my tops layers still have issues). I'm printing PLA at 205, no bed heat. First layer at 25% speed then 4600 mm/min.

Thoughts?

Re: Preheat Issue

What printer are you using? I'm guessing you can just look in the gcode files for all of the temperature commands. For example, when you enable the "stabilize at startup" option, you should see a M109/M190 command added.

Re: Preheat Issue

Hi,

Have you stopped the already started print (or not-print of course) and toggled to "wait until..." and then continued?
Asking, because I'd guess you have to do that before preparing the g-code...
...just an idea...

Martin
