Missing layers in herringbone gear model

I'm exporting a simple herringbone gear that I made in Fusion 360 to S3D and I essentially get unusable slice. Even the 3D preview looks good, but the slice is not connected at some places, is missing layers or is just weird.

As you can see by the images below, the slice is unusable in S3D, but both Cura and Slic3r look flawless.
Oh, and In the 3D preview you can see that the gears are going inside the cylinder, that was on purpose, to see if the problem was orphaned mesh or something. Also, none of the Repair S3D functions work, neither does changing the mesh resolution in Fusion when exporting.

I'm guessing this means that it isn't an actual 3D volume, but instead just some surfaces that are intersecting one another? If so, you can try either doing Mesh > Separate Connected Surfaces in S3D, or click "Edit Process Settings", go to the Advanced tab, and enable the "merge all outlines into a single solid model" option. But really, it would be better to create a valid 3D solid in your CAD package using a boolean operation.
