funel - I assume circular shape? no benefit of bridging there.. the inside of a funnel is about the worse scenario for the overhang there is.
PLA should be lot easier to handle that then ABS!! so if you have it other way around you need to properly calibrate your printer and increase cooling
major thing that helps with inside of the funnel overhang type wall is the
"extruded width" - increase it! for 0.4mm nozzle try 0.6mm extruded with - does wonders for such shapes

. next parameter that helps a lot with all type of overhangs, including this one, is layer height - thinner the layer easier is to print the overhang. and finally speed - any circular printing benefits from slower printing.. anyhow, increasing extruded width is the no1 thing you want to try in this case
