Simplify3D User Forum

I purchased Simplify3d a few days ago hoping it would make the software side of printing a lot more efficient. Instead I've had nothing but headaches from the software. After install the installer remains open in my dock until I quit the application. The largest problem with this is that after quitting the application I am unable to save GCODE until I use app zapper on the software and then reinstall it. I mean I HAVE to use app zapper instead of the uninstaller because it doesn't help with anything. It seems a little ridiculous that I have to reinstall the application every time I want to use it. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I'm running on the first gen retina macbook pro with 16GB of RAM and Mavericks 10.9.2

I had the same problem. It has to do with rights. I installed in on Mac OS and when I installed the software I was Admin with admin rights.
But later I was a normal user with no rights to write in the dir were I first saved my g-code.
Check your permissions of the dir where you want to save your G-code.
