top layer gap

Hey guys, I'm fairly new to 3d printing so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a robo r1 plus that I recently bought, I was using the stock mattercontrol that it came with and found out that it is not the greatest. So a friend recommended simplify3d, and here I am. I love it so far, it's very customizable. I'm having a little bit of trouble on my top layers, they seem to miss a spot everytime, directly in the middle. here are some pictures, if anyone has any ideas! thanks guys.

Re: top layer gap

Try going to the Infill tab and changing the external fill pattern to rectilinear. You could also try increasing the extrusion width by 0.01mm if you want to keep using the current pattern.

Re: top layer gap

I tried increasing the extrusion width by .01 but when it started printing it was printing squiggly lines rather then straight. I was having a problem with rectilinear infill so that's why I switch to concentric. I will try rectilinear infill again.
