Is windows editing/reformatting the gcode?

Strange goings on here. I export the gcode, can open and view the file. When I eject the SD card, then insert it again and open the gcode file all of the code has been replaced with capital U. See the video link here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2Cmr ... lF6OG14QTA
I saved a copy to the desktop and it's straight out gcode. I copy/paste it to the SD card and can open that and it's gcode. If I eject the SD card, then reinsert and open the file it's all capital U. WTF is going on?
