[FIXED] Randomise Start Point doesn't work on single perimeters

As above, "Randomise Start Points on Perimeters" doesn't work on single extrusion perimeters - it will start the extrusion in the same place every time, like it's stuck on 'fastest' setting, leading to an unsightly seam or buildup if start/stops aren't perfect (such as with larger nozzles that drool)

Not seeing the problem...Note the retraction is where the stop starts are.
Are you using the cork screw option?
This will not allow random starts.

Just to bump this as no response - I still can't find a workaround for this:

Bump, still having problems with this. Mainly on models with single extrusion perimeters.

Start points have been discussed and proven working on several occasions so there must be something unique with what you are doing.

Can you please attach a factory file for an example where you are having this issue.

Also, what version of S3D are you using??

4.0.1 - I've had this issue for a long time, it's very easy to generate in a few files, here's one, perimeters all have the same start points, even without being singles.

There's obviously some interaction between settings coming into play....because if you uncheck the "Print islands sequentially without optimization" I think you'll get what you're wanting.

What I'll get is an overheated mess from it slapping two layers of plastic down consecutively on one part.
There's no logical reason that setting shouldn't allow randomised start points.

I have this issue on many similar prints.

I'm having this problem too. Doesn't matter if I have "Print islands sequentially" checks or not. Start point doesn't work either way.
