There is a cresent shape portion of the part that no matter what i do simply wont infill. I know its a settings-issue, not even a big one but i just cant find it
Its high-stress part so it needs 100% infilling.
Factory-file attached. Using 0.6 nozzle.

Try dropping the nozzle size and see if it will eventually fill in on preview. You may have to get to .4 or less. My guess is the area is to small to fill.

PROBLEM SOLVED - partially
I let it overlap more to the outlines/perimeters and it now infills it...
BUT!
it leaves the tips empty.
Usually the "single extrusion fill" in 4.0 handles these things but not here... Not sure why.

Try changing the new toggle on the Addn tab for external single wall type to Allow single walls as well.

I am less experienced than a novice and would like to pose to the community a couple of problems. I designed a cube to test printing on Qidi Tech One [2] Printer. (It prints off gcode). I did this by making a 2d square in the work area and then extending the square to make a cube. I brought it into Slicer and exported it as a gcode file. Then I imported it into Simplify3d and printed. I had wanted to fill it 100% but instead ended up with a cube with no interior except for light structural support.
1. What could be the reasons I end up with an almost vacant interior?
2. What could I do to simplify my process?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Post the STL? is there something wrong with the file itself? Did you make the STL yourself or was it provided/downloaded from somewhere?
