New filament problem.

I'm a slight newbie with 3D printers so go easy on me.

Monoprice Select Mini. Been working pretty well for a couple of months. Fitted new filament yesterday and have this clicking/skipping of the drive wheel issue.

Am running close to default profile in Simplify3D for this print. Have increased extruder temp to 200 celcius per the manufacturers specs, turned on raft & supports and set infill at 15%.

Have measured filament diameter in several places, spot on 1.75 mm each time.

Filament is from http://www.esun3d.net

Drive wheel clicking/skipping occurs on the slow layers every few seconds (see & hear this in the vid attached). It occurs very rarely in the fast layers such as the raft and the infill.

Appreciate all who look/listen to the vid and any/all ideas. Apologies for the zip file, forum wouldn't accept mp4.

up a temp a little bit more, that might help

What is your speed?

Double check the filament diameter you have entered and also check the extrusion multiplier. It is easy to get the decimal off a place!

Thanks arhi. I have increased to 210 and will try again.

Thanks wirlybird. Speed is 40.0 mm/s for Default Printing Speed & Outline Speed. Extrusion multiplier is 1.00. Filament diameter is 1.7500 mm.

I'm going to reset Simplify 3D to default profile for this printer and try with a higher extruder temp as the only modification.

Forgot to mention in OP that material is PLA glass, not sure if that matters.

glass filled PLA ?

you probbly need more temp as "filled" materials tend to block the nozzle so you need easier flow to get around that and you get that by bigger nozzle or higher temperature.. what did you manufacturer said about nozzle size last time I was looking at glass filled filament the min "safe" nozzle size was 0.8mm
