Hi there,

I have a weird issue..
The top layers of my printed objects are not solid (even if printed with 100% infill), but my raft top layer is perfectly solid.

I have no clue which variable could cause this issue..

sorry, link is fixed.
File is now available.

Error messages:

I have not a single error message.
Top layer finish is pretty the same if I use extrusion width of 0,42mm (should be default for 0,35mm noozle - already used this setting in last print).

I saw this XML parse error im some rare situations if simplify3d didn't close properly last time (e.g. force shutdown on windows updates).

The last error I never saw in simplify3d..
I also set two external infill angels (45 & -45) -> see screenshots above in Post #2.


Any ideas?

I get the same error messages as Horst.

Can you try regenerating the factory file. I think there's a corruption in the file.

If we get the same again then I can only conclude there's a corruption in your settings parameters

Do you test it with a re-import (Menue FILE > Open Factory ...) of your own factory file?

Causion: If the opening fails, you will have your old settings wich may be the same as they are stored in the corrupt factory file. Therefore change settings significant to be able to see the differences and close the program first. After restart the program you can Open Factory File.

No I didn't test it with re-import - but I'll give that a try later today.
