External Shell Speed

Hi Guys,

I've just switched to Simplify 3D after using slic3r and Cura. One of the features that slic3r has is to slow down the perimeter layers to make the print quality better. I know that you can do this in the speeds section ( Outline Underspeed and Solid Infill Underspeed), but this seems to slow down all the layers / shells. An example is if you have 8 top and bottom layers on a large flat model or 8 outline/perimeter shells, it takes a long time to print these layers / shells slowly. Is it possible to add a speed control that just affects the outside perimeters? Using this we could slow down JUST THE OUTSIDE shell improving the quality of the finishes on the model without sacrificing the speed too much.

Re: External Shell Speed

Read the description of the "Outline Underspeed"
It affects the outer-most outline meaning "JUST THE OUTSIDE SHELL" as you mentioned.
