Use case:
I have a printer with a buildtack print surface and dual extruders. I'm loading PLA in extruder 0 and PVA in extruder 1. PLA sticks to buildtack great. But PVA doesn't stick at all. However, PVA sticks to PLA.
Current usage:
I'm printing a raft of PLA under my PLA model and PVA support. That allows the PVA to stick. However, as my raft is PLA on both the base layers and the top layers, It's not ideal. I still have stringy PLA on the bottom of my print as you'd expect form a raft. Which shouldn't really be necessary as I have PVA to work with.
Request:
I'd very much like to be able to specify that the base layers of the raft be PLA (extruder 0 to get bed adhesion) and the top (interface) layer(s) of the raft to be PVA (extruder 1). That way, I can coat the build platform with my PLA for adhesion, and then guarantee that all PVA support structures are touching PLA or PVA, and not buildtack, to which they do not adhere.
