Use Case:
I am printing with PLA in extruder 0 and PVA in extruder 1. I am trying to reduce print costs by using the PLA for the support and the PVA only for the Dense Support. Which is something suggested in one of your support videos. As PVA is soluble, I'd like to have zero distance between it and the PLA. However, Because the Horizontal Offset is unified between both support and dense support, I end up in a less than ideal situation. Either:
a) I set horiztonal offset to 0. As a reslut, the PLA supports running up the side of my PLA object contact it directly and fuse to it.
b) I set horizontal offset to something small (like 0.4). As a result, the PLA supports stay clear of my object. However, the PVA dense support also stays clear of my object, and defeats the purpose of having a 100% infill soluble support.
Request:
I'd like to be able to specify different horizontal offset values for the support versus the dense support. Such that the PLA support can be made to stay clear of the object while the PVA dense support will contact it directly.
Idea:
It might be good if the actual horizontal offset interpolates over the dense support layers such that it will flange out to meet the surface if I have more than one dense support layer, and support itself while doing so.
