I need to print on multiple machines to get jobs done on time. To save the programmer's time, it would be nice to have S3D automatically nest parts within each other's bounding boxes. Then after S3D has determined that there is no more room on that build platform, it would automatically nest the remaining parts on a new platform with the same settings. This would continue, as needed, until all parts are nested on multiple platforms.
Preferred settings:
- Option to nest inside or outside of the part bounding boxes
- Allowable distance between nested parts
- Allowable distance from platform edge
- Ability to nest only selected parts
- Ability to keep a part at a current z height.
- Enable Multi-Platforms
- Preferred locations to nest. e.g. First solution, Minimal x, Minimal y, Platform center
- Translate and Rotate, 90°,45°,30°,15° or custom degree rotation
- Translate only
