IF NEWTOOL fan commands

Hello all -
I'm using a custom profile for a dual extruder machine to print nylon and PETG. Both have very different settings, including active cooling fan settings. I'm currently using the IF NEWTOOL command with M106 and M107 so that the nylon extruder prints without fan and PETG prints with the fan. I would like to add the cooling fan to the nylon extruder but ONLY for layers that are below 5.0 seconds. Is there a creative command sequence I could use for that? Thanks in advance!
