Simplify3D User Forum

First timer here looking for help.
I am a high school Tech teacher. Our district bought me 3 Replicator+ machines. (I prefer Ulitmaker but I did not have the last say on the purchase.)
I am having problems with several things. 1- S3D is not seeing my printers. I have dis-connected USB and installed and ethernet switch for all 3 R+s.
I could not see any of the R+s nor connect to them with S3D. I checked Services in Task manager to make sure MB services might be running and causing interference but it was off. Maybe I missed something?
2- Settings. What are the settings for a R+ in S3D? Im pretty sure I have V4.0 S3D so the R+ machine is there.
I have looked and spent alot of time trying to get this resolved so I can get a workflow going for my classes. But i have not solved much. I really do not want to use the Makerbot Print software if I do not have to. But I will if I do not get S3D working on a consistent basis.

You have to manually disable the makerbot background services, but you also have to make sure you have the driver installed for the printer (assuming you are using Windows).

You can load the S3D provided settings for the printer by going to Help > Configuration Assistant.
