Simplify3D User Forum

I've got a weird problem on a CTC dual whereby I get a gap between the outline and floor/ceiling layers: but not the infill (currently set to 20% overlap). Happens mainly when filling ellipses/circles, see attached.

Does anyone know how I could correct this: looked everywhere for a floor/ceiling overlap setting!

Is that photo of the bottom layer of your print? It so, the nozzle might be starting too far away from the bed.

If you print a cylinder, does the top layer look like that too, or is it just the bottom most layer?
