In order to print a brim, the manual says to select a distance of '0' from the part
I did that - but the brim is still one complete line away from the part - becoming just a skirt

0.4 nozzle
Prusa PLA
Part is the Qtrainer LR6 (Wing tip)
software version 4.0
What have I done wrong here?

Can't really help unless you include more information. Try attaching your factory file (File > Save Factory File).
