What's happening to my corners?

Good morning, I'm Andrea from Italt, I own a Creality CR-10S and I use the latest S3D version.
I can't resolve the issues shown in the pictures at all....I've tried all the combinations of "Retraction Distance", Extra Restart Distance", "Coasting Distance", Wipe Nozzle", I've tried several times enabling or disabling the various settings and using different values when they are enabled but nothing works....I'm printing PLA at 159°C...

Can someone help me please?

Thanks and regards
Andrea

You could try disabling the "force retraction between layers" option to see if that helps

sorry, I forgot to answer.... no, it didn't.... the only thing that seems to work "a little" is to choose the option to place the start for the layers (seam) in a given coordinates couple... but I don't understand why first and why some time ago it worked without this workaround....

I do believe from my searching on why this is happening.. It looks like it worked much better in version 4.0 and something is amiss in 4.01 which is the only version I have had a chance to use.. Random looks bad, optimal looks bad, and placing them where you want only works sort of.. I understand that was something else that broke in 4.01.. Search zit in the forum..

I know this is an odd question but have you tried a different roll (new roll) of filament?

wondering if the roll has to much moisture which can cause issues such as this.

silica packs in time can get saturated and then will no longer keep your roll dry, I know its a shot in the dark but worth a shot.

If all else fails at least you have an excuse to buy another roll
