Bed Leveling - non adjustable bed

Hi
I have a printrbot plus and the bed is a non adjustable bed.
When I try to use the bed leveling wizard in S3D the X/Y plain will not move close to the bed if using the software to adjust the height.
Was not sure when using the bed leveling wizard if you use the software controls or physical adjust the bed.
The wording on the wizard is not clear about this.
Anyone know a good way to level this printer?
