Would it be possible for the slice not to generate any rafting inside a model's perimeter where there is nothing to support so as to cut down on material waste and printing time?
I don't know why, this seems to be a new phenomenon, but now I always get layer offsets in my Creatr prints. I don't know if this has to do with Simplify3D or the machine, but for some reason the offsets always happen in the same layers. Someone on the Leapfrog forums suggested I turn off "allo...
I just solved my own problem. All I had to do was rotate the model on its z axis 90° and for some reason whatever problem the slicer had with it seems to have gone away.
Too bad I was already well into printing a version with the missing ball. Oh well, next one will be good I guess.
Howdy, I have a problem in generating Gcode for this classic piece : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:51806 One of the balls on the outer bearing of the 62 ball model will always be omitted for some reason. I tried generating it with the old Repetier for Leapfrog software and it does generate the fu...
I'd tried Linux (actually on another old machine which I then screwed up the system partition so now it won't boot from it) but it was Fedora and I just couldn't figure out how to install anything to get it to print so I gave up on it. I'm having enough problems getting my printer to work properly a...
So I have this old Acer laptop that I'm now using solely as a Creatr controller and I installed XP SP3 clean on it and I've been trying to put in the bare minimum to make this my printer machine. I installed the latest Arduino drivers and I do get Creator and Repetier to connect to the machine but i...
Another bug I've noticed is that for some reason the X-axis jog control doesn't function properly for the left side increments. It will accept one input and all other left move commands will go ignored.
