I noticed that when I turn the fan on after printing about 10 layers the printer stops for a short time. Maybe less then a second. Then it moves like normal. Wonder if that is normal or is it a bug that is stops like that as it turns the cooling fan on?

Funny I had to do this yesterday and didn't see a way to do it so I did it in cura. Then I saved the separate parts as stl's so I could work on them in simplify 3d. Seems kind of sad that I have to go to free software to do things that paid software should do. I really like simplify 3d for most thin...

It is funny how low a temp you can run on xyz abs. I have to try my other abs from matter hackers to see if it runs hotter the way it does in my home built printer. For me xyz abs is like running pla temps only with the bed hotter.

Hi Dave, I have been using 210 head and 90 bed temps like the standard xyz temps with no problem. You may find some parts may work better with other settings but for the most part those temps are good. I use repetier firmware with those temps.

I am trying to use repetier firmware. Going to make firmware changes as needed to try and get it working. Going to print from SD. Right now I am checking calibration of the machine under repetier firmware.

So when using stock firmware are you printing by the usb cable? Or are saving to the sd card and printing from that? Could you help me by sending me by posting your settings?
