IDEX prime bucket G-code question.

I got a question about setting up IDEX for S3D. So I got the formbot T-rex 3.0 I got the second extruder tuned in and alignment test prints are spot on. Now the Trex 3 is a IDEX printer with prime buckets. How do I set up to prime/purge everytime the tool changes in S3D. I basically just want the gc...

Didn't know what website to upload it to so I picked up a old favorite.

Weird slicing going on with a chip holder.

So I am printing out a holder for a chip I am going to install. The chip is supposed to be mounted on it with 3 posts but instead of slicing the post with a hole in it it kind of hollows it out. Been scratching my head over WHY simplify keeps on doing it. tried slic3r to see why but it happens on th...

Re: All processes selected each time I "Prepare to Print"

Re: All processes selected each time I "Prepare to Print"

Same here. It IS kinda annoying. I only have two processes so it is not much more work for me.

Bed leveling wizard

So I just upgraded to V3 and have set the program to use my sharebot dual extruder. I know that my bed levelling is kinda....eh so I figured why not try the bed leveling wizard. so I start it. it homes out my bed. I press next and for some reason my extruder while it moves make this weird noise like...

Re: So I did my first print using simplify3D aaand WTH

mmm that sounds like a decent idea. now to find those over here. quick question. how do you make simplify wipe the nozzle at the beginning of the print. now it drops that bed quite a bit while the extruder moves into place. when I use slic3r it just stays at the 0 position on the bed causing the ooz...

Re: So I did my first print using simplify3D aaand WTH

concerning it not putting out filament......does your printer do a purge cycle before it starts printing the skirt? it usually would move the head off the corner of the bed, extrude 20mm or so of filament, wipe it off on the corner then move over to start the skirt. if it does that and you get plas...

Re: So I did my first print using simplify3D aaand WTH

Tried it. had to do some fiddling. if I tried to do the "start printing at 8mm" the second setting would float above the first one. putting it at anything lower than 6mm seems to make it connect perfectly. haven't tried printing it out yet. having other issues with initial printing. when I...
