Ok. So I have restarted the printer which I would think would clear the memory of the last print. The same problem still exists. It's as if Simplify3D is sending the old model instead of the new model. HELP!

I thought I was having sequential print problems but when I switched to a different model, I discovered the printer was just reprinting the last thing that I printed. Simplify3D appears to upload the new file but the printer just restarts the last print. Any ideas?

The problem appears to be with 1.9.1.470.

I installed 1.8.0.376 and the first layer speed setting started working without a raft.

It appears the problem has something to do with Makerbot's latest firmware. I backed down to a previous version and the problem went away.

I agree. The software shows the first layer speed to be correct. But when I actually print the model the first layer speeds are incorrect. Here is a link to a zip file that contains 2 videos showing the difference in speed.

No problem. This is just a simple thing I downloaded. All my models behave the same way.

Did anyone ever resolve this issue? I have the same problem. It seems like the first layer settings only work if the raft is enabled. When not using a raft the first layer prints at the same speed as the rest of the model. so i am using simplify3d and i cant seem to get my first layer to set right. ...

Is there any plans in the works to resolve #1? 3.0 is great except for the Build Time discrepancies.
