I had a few issues going on and I was confusing them. This was simply a case of me selecting the wrong process while generating gcode... derp :/

I've disabled supports completely in my process and when I go to preview S3D keeps adding them back in for one of my parts. I can't figure out how to disable it and it's putting supports in a place where there should not be any!

I'm having a similar problem, except my overhangs are 2.5mm. Sometimes S3D will generate supports for the upper cylinder and not the lower and other times it will create it for the lower and not the upper. The purge off the side of the build platform is intentional, and I definitely prefer it that way! You can clean you nozzle out better without worrying about the extra backpressure of trying to do this directly on top of the surface. I'm confused. There are profiles for the FlashForge Creator Pro. Is there a reason to use the Makerbot profiles instead?
