Flashforge Pro and Simply3d

So my FF Pro has dual extruders. if I load a job and set to use right extruder, bed/extruder will heat up ans then push out a bit of material while in an offbed area. So this would be used for prepping the line I can onyl assume. The problem is, if I set to use my left extruder in Simply3d...it still preps the right extruder. I have looked and can not find within Simply3d where to make this setting change. One would assume it would be an automatic setting based on the extruder you select.

Much thanks

I've had something similar. Try going to Tools-->Firmware Configuration, then make sure that the profile is on MakerBot, and under the X3G tab the profile is Replicator 1-dual extruder. :D :D :D

Yep, Makerbot/Sailfish and also set to dual. Thanks for the suggestion.

Are you using the profile for (Left extruder)?

I'm confused. There are profiles for the FlashForge Creator Pro. Is there a reason to use the Makerbot profiles instead?

I think KBW just meant the "profile" under the Firmware Configuration tool, not the actual print profile
