Re: Retracts too long with 3.0.2?

I can confirm the same thing. In particular I notice it happens when the wipe must go over a curved path. Printing cubes doesn't give issues. an odd retraction for me looks like this: G1 X146.785 Y35.100 E0.7375 G1 X146.697 Y34.575 E0.7482 G1 X146.656 Y34.044 E0.7588 G92 E0 G1 X146.662 Y33.508 E-0.3...

Simplify doubles over itself on thin walls

I find myself wanting to print a thin cylinder with a thickness designed to be the same as the extrusion thickness so it can be printed with one pass. However, simplify seems to insist on doubling over itself on this wall as if it thinks there has to be an inner and outer perimeter. I understand the...

Filament feed rate limit instead of nozzle speed limit

While I appreciate the ability to change nozzle speeds for support, perimeter, and top/bottom layers, I find myself constantly having to re-tune the nozzle speed for different layer heights and different infill extrusion widths. The reason for this is that both of my printers are limited in the fila...

Re: Simply fix to increase strength of Infill

I think the solid infill underspeed only affects the top and bottom solid layers, not the sparse infill. Having %140 or even %180 infill width actually creates very strong sparse infill for me. The issue is then the extruder cannot keep up on the infill and I have to slow the whole process down with...

Re: Better Shaped Rafts

Agreed, however I would like to be a bit more specific in how they should be altered, at least for my typical use cases. I use rafts ONLY as a way to help support structure stick to the bed. In the same way that we can set the number of dense support structure layers under and above the part itself,...
